This NDT Procedure establishes the minimum requirements and describes the techniques for magnetic particle (MT) examinations on ferromagnetic welds and components conducted in accordance with the requirements of the referenced codes/standards. The procedure address the "specific" requirements of the applicable code. So, if you need a procedure for ASME using a yoke with dry, visible particles, we will write one for ASME. If you are in the aerospace industry and use a stationary MT machine and fluorescent particles your procedure will address that need.
